PSTC Opens Call for Abstracts for Tape Week 2021
Research on PSA tape’s use in automotive and building and construction industries welcomed
(CHICAGO – July 16, 2020) – The Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC), the leading North American trade association for pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape manufacturers and affiliate suppliers, today announced the official opening of abstract submissions for its inaugural Tape Week event, slated for May 3-6, 2021, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Those interested in submitting their work are encouraged to share abstracts of in-depth case studies and solution-driven narratives and insights on the practical applications of PSA tape in building and construction and, part of a new educational offering for Tape Week attendees, the automotive industry.
Some topics for consideration include tape’s advantages and areas for growth in comparison to other bonding methods, how to communicate tape’s benefits and overcome potential barriers for increased use by building and construction and automotive professionals, and upcoming innovations and future marketplace trends.
Chosen abstracts will be invited to attend PSTC’s reinvigorated Tape Week, the only knowledge-building and networking event for PSA tape professionals, and present their research during the Markets and Applications Track, where sessions will be divided between practical educational sessions on building and construction and the automotive industry.
All submitted abstracts will undergo a formal committee review in early fall, and applicants will be notified of their selection shortly after.
