The only event focused exclusively on pressure sensitive adhesive tape, this knowledge-building and networking event provides segmented, flexible and diversified learning options and plentiful networking time. This year’s Tape Week will be taking place at the at the Loews Chicago in Rosemont, IL, conveniently located less than a mile from the O’Hare Airport.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Deadline Extended: Submissions Due by November 30th, 2024

The abstract itself is typically only one or two paragraphs in length and should provide a reasonable idea of what the proposed presentation would cover. Committees will be reviewing and selecting submitted abstracts shortly after the deadline. If your submission is chosen, you will be notified in late fall with next steps. 

The Technical Track is an opportunity to share your innovative technologies, best practices, and technical advances impacting our industry. Topics will include advances in such industrial verticals as automotive, building and construction, medical and packaging or even concepts related to new emerging markets such as EV batteries, AI, energy, sustainability, testing, etc.

Share your insights into the latest market trends with representatives from tape manufacturers, other tape suppliers (materials and equipment) and many tape end users in attendance at the Markets & Applications Track. Topics of focus (not limited to): 

    • Help building and construction professionals – across all internal verticals, including adhesives and sealants specialists – better understand the variety of PSA tape solutions available.
    • Tape’s advantages and areas for growth in comparison to other bonding methods. This includes trends, marketplace research and end-user, converter experiences. 
    • Emerging markets such as Fabrication, Materials, Semi-conductors, EV, advances in medical as it relates to tapes.
    • Business and Operations Topics of interest to our members.
    • Address how PSA tapes are used from a building and construction applications standpoint.
    • Speak to the challenges of using PSA tape and how to overcome them.
    • Demonstrate recent innovations making tape use desirable, along with solutions found through the use of PSA tape.

The Sustainability Track aims to have presentations on Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) contributions to sustainability and the future role of sustainability in a variety of PSA industry verticals. Topics may include:‎ 

    • Lifecycle analysis
    • Narratives and case studies for implemented sustainability programs
    • Energy
    • Product design
    • Emerging economies and globalization
    • Environmental issues
    • Smoke, flame and toxicity-resistance
    • Sustainability efforts within specific verticals such as medical, EV battery, building and construction, etc.
