PSTC Opens Call for Abstracts for Tape Week 2022‎

Research and insights on PSA tape’s use from both technical and application perspectives welcomed

(CHICAGO – July 22, 2021) – The Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC), the leading North American trade association for pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape manufacturers and affiliate suppliers, today announced the official opening of abstract submissions for its inaugural Tape Week event, slated for May 2-5, 2022, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Those interested in submitting their work are encouraged to share abstracts of in-depth case studies and solution-driven narratives and insights on the practical applications of PSA tape in a variety of industry verticals, including building and construction, automotive and emerging markets.

In addition to submitting a traditional text-based abstract, submitters are also invited — but not required — to send a brief video to supplement their entries.

Some topics for consideration include PSA tape’s advantages and areas for growth in comparison to other bonding methods, how to communicate tape’s benefits and overcome potential barriers for increased use by professionals in various verticals, and upcoming innovations and future marketplace trends.

Chosen abstracts will be invited to attend PSTC’s reinvigorated Tape Week — the only knowledge-building and networking event for PSA tape professionals — and present their research during the Markets and Applications Track or the Technical Track, depending on abstract topic.

All submitted abstracts will undergo a formal committee review in late fall, and applicants will be notified of their selection shortly after.

For more information, including submission criteria, and to submit an abstract for Tape Week 2022 by the deadline of September 1, visit this page on PSTC’s website.
