PSTC Boosts Educational Portfolio with New Fundamentals of PSA Tape Course
Live, virtual course teaches building and construction, and transportation applications of PSA tape
(CHICAGO – August 12, 2021) – The Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC), the leading North American trade association for pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape manufacturers and affiliate suppliers, has added a new fundamentals of PSA tape course to its growing portfolio of training materials and educational offerings under the PSTC Tape Academy umbrella. Entitled “Fundamentals of PSA Tape Applications in Industry Verticals,” the course will be held live on a virtual platform over a course of six weeks, starting with the first module the week of October 4.
In contrast to PSTC’s technical training and resources, this course will present an overview of key descriptions and performance terms of PSA tape, and review two major application areas: the building and construction, and transportation market spaces. It will also provide an ideal description of these two applications and explore why and how PSA tapes are used in these market spaces.

The Fundamentals of PSA Tape Applications in Industry Verticals course is ideal for various employee segments, such as entry-level staff and those new to the tape industry; salespeople and marketers focused on tape use in the building and construction, and transportation verticals; and individuals whose job responsibilities have recently shifted or who are seeking further professional development.
The content of the course was developed in partnership with members of the PSTC Education Committee, relaying their expertise in and desire to give back to the PSA tape industry. Each one-hour module will be held live, once per week, to encourage interaction between the instructors and students.
Upon completion of the course, attendees will be issued a completion certificate.
